Compare that to just loading the vst of vocodex on the next insert slot in cubase. Then imagine you wanted to change a note in that bassline after already rendering it out of cubase and importing it into the rewired FL. Having to set that up through rewire is a pain and I wouldn't personally bother with it if I wasn't absolutely sure that vocodex was what this bass needed. Like imagine having a cool bass synth in cubase and thinking "hmm I wonder how this would sound through vocodex". Rewiring has its uses but it's nowhere near the adaptability nor the workflow of the other alternative in a multitude of cases. Rewiring is a pain for many things and I don't want to default to it in order to use plugins that I could just have vst versions for. The workflow hindrances when wanting to communicate/copy/paste/trigger things between FL and the other daw, the limitations of audio editing in FL (which is the main reason I use a second daw for many things) etc. Rewiring FL into another daw is an extremely suboptimal solution if there is also a possibility to just use the plugins you want to use in the other daw and it would be disingenuous to claim otherwise. I think that might even be illegal advertising in some places. The worst would be if after the sale they'd just replace the edition with the bundle for 899 again. I also wonder if they'll start charging more for the bundle from now onwards or if they'll even return it into the store. So I just thought they were the same and didn't bother to check anything on the store page at that point.

They do say that you get native licenses with the edition but I had the misfortune of doing my version comparison research in the FL reference manual which only mentions the bundle and says nothing about the edition and says it comes with the vst versions. I upgraded into the all plugins edition it mainly because I wanted to use the plugins in both of the daws I use but that turned out not to be possible :P. It might even trick some people (like me :D) into buying it. Yeah it's not a bad deal at all, but they're making the deal seem even better by listing the same "original" price as the bundle had.
